The high-end Enterprise quality T8000 is designed for high volume, high speed printing applications.
There are many situations where the barcode print quality is crucial and the optional 6" Online Data Validator (ODV2) automatically rejects any poorly printed labels.
Instead of using a separate device, the ODV-2D is fully integrated with the printer to instantly identify, log and overprint any rejected labels. It can be configured using the printer.
Note that ODV-2D only covers 3/4 of an 8" label so any barcodes to be validated should be within this area.
